Knowing how to do essays is essential to getting a passing score on the AP
Exam for World History as the three essays count for 50% of your overall
score.  We will do many activities in class as well as having graded essays to
prepare you to succeed on this part of the exam.  

There are three kinds of essays on the AP Exam:  the Document-Based
Question Essay, the Change Over Time Essay, and the Comparative Essay.  
Each one has its own rubric.  The links below will show you the rubric we
will use in class to grade the essays.  These rubrics are heavily based on the
rubrics used by the College Board when grading the AP Exams.
